With dermal fillers, we can help enhance and re-contour certain facial features as well as rehydrate, and plump-up skin that may be looking dry, dull, and saggy.

Dermal fillers uses a form of hyaluronic acid that is applied directly under the skin, leaving it looking smoother, plumper, and more radiant. When applied to certain areas of the face, it can add volume and fullness, re-contouring it for a more defined finish.

Dermal fillers can be used across the face to address a wide variety of issues. At SnapeHill Dental Studio, our highly skilled and trained facial aesthetic professionals can use fillers to address the following:

Nasolabial folds

This is the line that runs from the sides of the nose to the corners of your mouth. Also known as laughter or smile lines, these lines can deepen and become more pronounced as we age due to the lost production of collagen which in turn causes us to lose volume in the skin. Dermal fillers add volume to the area, lessening the appearance of the lines and allowing you to smile with confidence again.

Lip fillers

Lip fillers are a popular way to add volume and extra plumpness to the lips. Some patients are simply born with thinner lips, while others lose volume from their lips as they age and wish to add a bit of power to their pout. Lip fillers address both the shape and volume of the lips and produce almost immediate results, allowing you to smile happily again within 48 hours of treatment.

Tear trough

The undereye is one of the most delicate and sensitive areas of the face, as well as being one of the most prone to showing signs of ageing, stress, and tiredness. Dark circles and a hollowed-out appearance under the eye are not uncommon, especially as we age and quickly lose volume in this area. Dermal fillers effectively restore volume and can even help boost collagen production from the inside.

Cheek filler

With cheek fillers, we can easily and effectively add volume to the cheek area, leaving it looking more defined and contoured. Some patients lose volume in this area as they age, while others may never have had the volume they desired. Not only can dermal fillers add definition and volume to the area, lifting the cheeks in a natural-looking manner, but they will also minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Marionette lines

Marionette lines run from the corners of the mouth down towards the jawline and can become more obvious and pronounced as we age, due to the loss of collagen and volume in the skin. Dermal fillers are a great way to treat these lines, as they add volume back into the skin, producing almost immediate effects while re-contouring the area for a more youthful overall appearance.

Jawline and chin

Dermal fillers can be used to add volume to the jawline and chin, helping to redefine and re-contour the entire area so that it appears tighter and more defined. A less defined/weaker chin and jaw area can simply be genetic or be brought about by weight gain and ageing. Dermal fillers can address this issue by re-sculpting the area for a more defined profile and producing the most optimum shape for your face.
